I didn’t watch too much of the GP3, GP2 and Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup practice or qualifying but on Sunday watched all of the races. Basically once I was at my seat by 9:25am that was where I remained for the day. The F1 cars don’t need earplugs, people say the cars are quiet this year, they aren’t really that quiet they just aren’t super loud (there are loads of differing opinions on that topic)
The program started off with the GP3 (2nd race - there is 2 races for GP2 & GP3) which was 18 laps.

Next was the GP2 race, as that was about to start there was a downpour which must’ve messed a bit the team’s tyre choice etc. That provided for some decent action in the wet and a few smashes.
GP2 Race about to start (check the crappy weather)
GP2 sighting lap

GP2 crash at 1st corner
GP2 crash at 1st corner (note car on fire on left, caused safety car to come out not long after)

GP2 podium
GP2 Race in the rain
The last buildup race was the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. The one attraction in that race (well people seemed to think it was, didn’t do anything for me) was car no 911 driven by Patric Dempsey he got lapped by loads of people so wasn’t really a race contender at all.

After these 3 races there was a bit of a lull in activity before the main F1 stuff all started.
