Travelling tech

What tech am I taking on my travels? Quite a bit actually, to be able to document and share my experiences with friends & family.

• MacBook Air : for all the normal reasons and external HDD for backups
• iPhone 5 : general purpose photos and for all my travel apps etc.
• Canon SX50 HS digital camera : with great 50 optical zoom for those far away shots
• GoPro Hero3 Black Edition : for some sport action videos
• 2 * Mobile Power Bank’s with 2600mAh charge capacity each : so I can keep my phone and GoPro charged when on the go (may not need too much but not taking any chances)
• Selection of various size memory cards for the Camera and GoPro

When doing my bookings I have looked for places with wifi to be able to keep in touch and upload photos and content to my holiday blog. I’m sure I will pick up wifi out and about as well to just do an odd tweet or something too. Depending on upload speeds I may also use this to backup my data to Dropbox as an added layer of backup. I was thinking of maybe taking over my one pair of binoculars (I have 2 small pairs 8×21 and 4×30) but not sure if I will bother with that or not as yet, probably not.
